| Cross-country skiing and snowmobiling are the main winter sports in this area. We boast a beautiful Nordic Ski Centre, with countless, well-groomed trails for both skating and classic styles. There is a cross-country shop and ski rentals. The lakes are frozen in winter and offer wonderful ski outings into the back-country. A big cross-country ski marathon, (The Cariboo Marathon), takes place every year at the beginning of February. There are various race distances to choose from up to the 50 km marathon. |
